Mrs Millie's are passionate about the flavour of our cakes. Every cake is made to order using traditional baking techniques and we continue to spend time testing new recipes and flavour combinations so as to ensure our cakes taste as good as they look. Below is a selection of our most popular flavours, however if you do not see what you are looking for please don't hesitate to ask, we have many more recipes to hand and will be happy to accommodate your request if we can. All our cakes are made in an environment that contains nuts, soya and alcohol traces.
An indulgent, intense belgian chocolate flavoured sponge with a melt in your mouth texture. This cake can be layered with a variety of different fillings including; white or dark chocolate ganache, chocolate Baileys, chocolate orange or a mint choc chip buttercream.
Vanilla sponge layered with a Madagascan vanilla infused buttercream and a raspberry or strawberry preserve
A light zesty lemon sponge, drizzled with a limoncello syrup and layered with a tart lemon curd and a sweet lemon buttercream.
A succulent spiced carrot cake baked with pecans, sultanas and fresh carrots and flavoured with cinnamon and nutmeg, layered with an cinnamon, orange or vanilla buttercream or cream cheese filling.
A rich dark sponge made with ripe bananas, caramel and dates and layered with salted caramel sauce and banana buttercream.
